The Alberta SPCA is happy to accept donations of supplies for the animals in our care. Learn more about what donations we are looking for here.
At the Alberta SPCA, we have many animals in our care but not in our building. As such, there are certain items that are more useful to us than others. If you have pet supplies that are not fit for our purposes, please get in touch with your local animal shelter to see if they can use them!

We investigate complaints of animal cruelty and neglect across Alberta and frequently remove animals from distress. Donating supplies allows us to have items on hand to meet the needs of abused or neglected animals.
Donations we accept
✅ Plastic, hard-shell crates for cats and dogs
✅ Unopened dry food for cats and dogs
✅ Unopened cat litter
✅ Leashes
✅ Collars
✅ Stainless steel bowls for food and water
✅ Clean towels
✅ Clean flat sheets
✅ Clean Blankets with no stuffing (fleece blanket, etc.)
✅ New dog beds
