Pets and Wills

Our animals are exceptionally important to us but many people fail to plan for their pets should the animals out live them. IN many cases, animals can live to be 30 in the case of horses, or 50 to 70 years when talking about exotic birds and reptiles. Owners often pre-desease their animals.

To ensure your pets are taken care of, determine a caregiver in advance who has the skills, knowledge and financial means to care for your animals in your absence. Ensure your wishes for the animals are clearly stated in your will so that you know your pet will continue to have the same level of care they are acostomed to.
