Help For Animals

We know when people are suffering, so are their animals.

The Alberta SPCA is here to help. We want to hear from people before their animals are in distress.

An Alberta SPCA staff member will reply during normal business hours

We can provide feed-in-place services for your pet if you have been impacted by COVID-19, including illness, self isolation or economic hardship.

Our program can provide food for any type of pet.

*Please note what the Alberta SPCA can and cannot provide

Cannot:

  • Accept surrendered animals
  • Accept or manage stray animals
  • Accept requests for medical intervention
  • Enter private dwellings and/or remove animals

Can ONLY:

  • Provide “feed in place” resources
  • Provide limited delivery of feed to predetermined/agreed upon location for distribution
  • Help arrange for livestock feed

Nude Beverages is donating a portion of their sales to or organization in support of Help For Animals through their COVID-19 relief fund. To date, they have donated $3,000. Thank you to Nude Beverages for your ongoing support of the work we do.

Peak Equestrian is donating a portion of their sales to support the Help for Animals program, and in particular, to help horses. Their goal is to raise $10,000 for the Alberta SPCA.
