Sorokowski, Cindy

Cindy Sorokowski is prohibited for a period of 10 years from owning, possessing, boarding, breeding, having care and control of, or living in a residence with any animal with the exception of one horse and one dog currently in her possession as the time of this order. Ms. Sorokowski must allow the Alberta SPCA access to her residence to review the living conditions of such animals, the condition of the animals, as well as the number of animals on the property. The Alberta SPCA may remove any animals in excess of the approved number in this order, or any animal in distress, without warrant.

This prohibition order is in effect until March 19, 2035.

When Do We Seize Animals

Alberta SPCA Peace Officers sometimes need to take animals into protective custody. When they do so, the officers will post a notice at the former location of the animals stating the reason for the seizure.
