Alberta SPCA Annual Conference:

Building Compassion and Confidence
October 7 & 8, 2010 - Ramada Hotel & Conference Centre, Edmonton

This annual conference, part of the Alberta SPCA's Shelter Support program, invites dedicated members of animal welfare groups to come together, learn from speakers and each other, and spend a few days rejuvenating and networking.

This year's conference with the theme Building Compassion and Confidence, will provide tools for improving credibility in your community by strengthening professional standards, so you in turn can do more for the animals in your area.

Animal shelters, humane societies and animal rescue groups provide valuable service in their respective communities. This conference will provide an opportunity to connect with others doing similar work in other parts of the province and beyond - to inspire and inform.
